Provide leadership and coordination of statewide training events with curriculum aligned to internationally recognized quality standards for online teaching effectiveness. Coordinate, facilitate and moderate CCC Confer synchronous webinars and other faculty training resources and offerings. Develop and maintain all project websites including informational website http://www.onefortraining.org, Blackboard and Moodle learning management systems, Facebook page, Twitter feed and event registration portal and database. Survey and consult statewide faculty and staff to determine training and service needs. Coordinate support resources for media streaming libraries to ensure ADA compliance. In accordance with faculty and staff feedback, program review, and the MSJC DE plan, serve in district wide shared governance committees to advocate for the distance education program in the district planning and budget development process. Assist in the planning of the statewide Online Teaching Conference.

Coordinated technology training options in the design and implementation of distance education technologies. Assisted in the planning of the annual @MSJC Technology training academy and served as a facilitator for online pedagogy and course management workshops. multiday training institutes (between 3-7 workshops each) on online
teaching pedagogy and effectiveness for nearly 900 faculty statewide
- Co-developed
and coordinated the @One Online Teaching Certification, which is
recognized by Chancellor’s Office Technology Unit and Advisory Committee
and the ASCCC. In 9 months since
its program debut, we have 230 active program enrollees.
- Co-authored
the MSJC Distance Education Plan 2011 Update
- Advocated for
and assisted in the redesign of the @One webinar program (approximately
250 sessions) which increased the variety of learning technology topics
including the production of the IT Best Practices, Building Community Online,
Office 2007 and 2010 webinar series
- Recruited a
variety of sponsors for annual conferences including Presidium Learning, Nuance,
EMC Paradigm, McAfee, Techsmith, Echo360, Automatic Sync Technologies, and
Microsoft Learning
- Migrated informational web presence to database driven content management system (2010), coordinated efforts for Blackboard system upgrade (from 7.3 to 9.1) and Thriva registration system (from 3.0 to 4.0)

offerings to address the request for just-in-time faculty support needs.
- Design and
developed the Introduction to Teaching with Blackboard 9.0 course
including negotiating for commercial level hosting support from
Blackboard, Inc.
- Managed and
maintained a self-paced library of 9 online learning courses and approximately
100 webinar archives, achieving 1,943 registrations by 850 faculty and staff
statewide
